The goal

Explore heart, brain, and muscle signals with classroom equipment.

My work

Led the team’s SpikeBox measurement activities.

Hardest problem

Connecting the measurement setup with the signals observed.

Result so far

Completed educational signal-collection and interpretation activities.

The project.

I led our team's body-measurement projects, working with SpikeBox equipment to explore heart, brain, and muscle signals. The activities connected biology with the practical engineering task of collecting and interpreting a signal.

Project leadership

I led the body-measurement projects for our team.

Engineering decisions

How it came together.

Turn a biological signal into an observation

The measurement activities introduced different sources of bioelectric signals through hands-on classroom equipment. My role was to lead the projects and help connect the measurement setup with what we observed.

Connect the setup with the signal

The classroom activity connected the measurement equipment with signals observed on its display. It introduced bioelectricity through practical experimentation and interpretation.
